According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, according to the scale of April, the output of plastic products from January to April 2022 was 25.011 million tons, a cumulative increase of -1.1%. Among them, the output in April was 6.616 million tons, a year-on-year increase of -9.0%.

In April 2022, the top five provinces in terms of plastic product production were Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu, and Hubei, with a total output of 3.7906 million tons, accounting for 57.29% of the national total. The output of plastic products is mainly concentrated in East China and South China. In April 2022, the output of plastic products in East China was 2.5125 million tons, accounting for 37.98%; the output of plastic products in South China was 1.409 million tons, accounting for 31.30%.
